2.  Artist: Fergie Album: The Dutchess

The lady who told you that you can only look at her lady lumps (while with the Black Eyed Peas) came with “The Dutchess” album. Though I’m not a big fan of her music, she did not sound studio made like other artists.  Fergie Ferg provided a soulful sound while asking the question “How come every time you come around my London, London Bridge wants to go down like?”  Which is a very forward statement, but at the same time can come off as a turn off…..until you look at her picture or in person!

The first song I enjoyed was “Clumsy.”   The beat was very mellow and smooth, with a twist of old school.  The lyrics were not over the top and actually enjoyable, she did not go overboard with the being a woman pimp.

The next song I listened to was “Fergalicious” which was not an enjoyable song.  The hook and lyrics were too much, almost like she did not have anything to write about, so she used the sex formula to fall on, no pun intended!

"Big Girls Don’t Cry” was a very nice soft song, good for the Pop genre.  The song takes me back to my times in high school when I was dating. The beat is upbeat and danceable; the lyrics were tolerable and made good points about life.

The final song is a special song to me; it is called “All That I Got (The Make Up Song).”  This is a very good song to listen to when a couple who truly loves each other are having troubles.  It puts the situations in perspective and makes you think about what is going on and what outcome is wanted. The lyrics make you feel that she is being sincere and inviting the audience to come into her world of love.
