On a cool evening in West Midtown Atlanta, VSGal trotted on over to Studio 1*five*0 for UrbanCouture Remixed a preview of the upcoming May fashion show.  Unlike other fashion shows, this is one of a kind.  "UrbanCouture" is the only fashion course offered at a high school in the entire nation.  Each year E. Vincent Martinez, fashion maven and teacher at Grady High School, proudly presents the year's senior fashion students collections.  Modeled by the students themselves, each student designs between 6 and 9 pieces to be presented in the May show. 

The preview show featured one outfit from each of the designer's collections.  The "catwalk" was painted by Scenario and is a representation of an aerial view of the Old Fourth Ward area of Atlanta.  Leslie Fram (previously Atlanta's 99x morning show radio personality) was the MC for the evening's events.
