Just before I moved away from Ohio – I heard that Paul Robinett had a candle scent (forgive me for not remembering the exact scent, but it was Rosemary something), featured in an Academy Awards Gift Basket. And from then on, I kept hearing more and more about his success. It started with just One Man in One Store in Columbus Ohio, and then he was distributing candles to Los Angeles, Tokyo, Australia, and so on. He hired staff to work at 7 Buttles, and then you almost never saw him there anymore. Paul was famous now! I started getting his newsletters in my email and forwarding them to all my pals. I sent my New Mexico candle photo in for his contest, and I won the Free Candle of the month. It came with a hand written card, postcard, and an adorable box to store it in. I was enthralled!
