From September 2008 to February 2009 the Wexner Center for the Arts exhibited an amazing collection of Warhol screen tests, films and nostalgia.  This was not a typical Warhol exhibit.  It contained the films that made him an American legend.  These are the films that were shown in seedy theatres around New York City and were even described as “pornography.”  (Though, by today’s standards they are a little less than PG 13.)

I think I have accomplished everything now that I can say; I sat in a dark black box by myself and watched Poor Little Rich Girl, Lonesome Cowboys and My Hustler.

I can only hope someone will say the same of my films someday.
