1.  Artist: Lil Wayne (Weezy) Album: Tha Carter III

The metaphoric lyrics used were very surprising.  I never thought Lil Wayne would make an album were I would actually like more than 2 songs.  Talk about being shocked when I actually enjoyed most of the album. Weezy had a lot of little quotable sayings that I enjoy saying myself when making pleasant conversations with friends and peers.  The next time a man introduces himself to a woman, he should introduce himself as “Mr. Make It Rain On Dem Hoes.”

My favorite song from this album is “A Milli.”  The bass hits hard, the lyrics are full of funny metaphors and it has a catchy hook.  Plus, everyone wants to, minimally, be a millionaire.

The next song I enjoyed was “Got Money (featuring T-Pain).”   It is surprising I like it because any person who tries to sound similar to Roger Troutman from Zapp,  just does not do it well.  I understand T-Pain is trying to do his own twist with the use of a vocorder and talk box, but Roger Troutman was the only one who can do it correctly; I know I know, I’m being biased.

Lastly, I enjoyed “Mrs. Officer (featuring Bobby Valentino).”   Let’s face it, all of us men and women would love to “fuck the police” one way or another.
