Though, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult has been around for twenty years I only started listening to them a few years ago.  In a word, their music is hot.  It is about sex and leather.   They use sound clips from B-movies to add a little more grind to the beat.  It is the kind of music one would listen to if they were having sex and wearing leather.  It is fast paced and repetitive.  You know, sort of like sex would be if you were sliding around in leather.
There was not as much leather in the audience as I had hoped for, though.  An occasional thigh high and corset sparked my interest.  But being a college bar on a Wednesday night their clothing choices were casual college attire.  I must give it up for the woman in the PVC nurse’s uniform and I did fall in love with a woman’s furry purple shrug.

I also noticed the tall sleek guy in a black fur coat standing beside me looked simply smashing.

TKK is what one might call a dark band.  They are classified as Industrial Rock.  When I use that term I hear a pile driver pounding in the background.  Which I suppose is fitting in relation to the content of their lyrics.
