When going to NYC, it is strongly encouraged to already know how to get where you’re going; even if it is by taxi, train, bus, or subway- unless you just want an adventure, and in this case I was prepared to take one. Camera ready I was out to find just how far the subway can take you, more so the “Green” line.
However, I decided that one day it would be fun to hop on and hop off randomly on the green line; I believe I was on train number 6. I had a destination but I needed to see what else I could find, would there be something better than what I was already looking for.

At about every stop, as the train approached, I realized that people began to chatter more and more about what they were doing. Tourist chatter is how I found where the WTC memorial and ground zero was located. (Which I later visited at night, as to not have everyone else around. It gave me a chance to think about my memories of 9/11 and it wasn't something I wanted to go see in a large group.)

Crowd Chatter also helped me figure out where the East Village was, I ever so badly wanted to go to the LIFE CAFE, anyone with a taste for RENT, be it the Broadway show or the movie would die to eat here.

Talking about the LIFE CAFE for a moment, I ate in the East Village location, but getting here I found out there was two of them and that they are run by a single lady who just believes in an awesome place and good food. I couldn't have found that more awesome, as I look up to a person like that, who just likes something, so they go out of their way to foster it. At the table of course I ordered a wine and beer, before my big plate of MAC AND CHEESE, and fresh Chicken and Veggie soup was thrown at me.

SADLY PASTA WITH MEATLESS BALLS ISN'T ON THE MENU- you might have to check for that somewhere
else.
