“Drink Well, Do Good”

How can you help South Africa by drinking wine?

VSGal delves into one of her favorite passions as we learn about a non-profit organization that makes giving, FUN!

VSGal is a member of an Atlanta Ladies Wine Club called “TWITs” – (an acronym for: The Winos In Training’) – who meet monthly to learn about wine, gab, and have fun.  Recently, the TWITs hosted a wine tasting at a local gallery – the Emily Amy Gallery (EAG) – for the ISAW Foundation.

ISAW stands for “International Society of Africans in Wine” – a non-profit organization working towards building sustainable communities through viticulture.  How is this possible?

Since the end of Apartheid in South Africa (1994), there has been an internationally-acknowledged need for broader and more effective participation among black people within the country’s economy.  The ISAW Foundation was organized to assist South Africa in the transformative movement already reshaping its professional landscape.
