All right, you’ve read my opinions and rants concerning my wedding planning adventure.  I don’t want you to leave this site thinking it is ALL bad, because it isn’t.  There are many other wonderful and beautiful things happening to counteract these negative things mentioned above.  However, wasn’t the theme of this issue “Something blue?”

I’m marrying the love of my life.   He waited 4 years for me to come to my senses and choose him.  He is patient, kind, and committed to me.  He’s my soul mate, my best friend, and my lover.  Both of our families will be attending our wedding, which is a blessing.  None of our family members gave us ANY grief about the wedding planning, they were HUGELY helpful!  We are getting married in the manner, the location, and the climate, we wanted.  We are blessed to have found an officiator, facility, photographer, DJ, caterer, and cake deliverer to meet our needs, and who are available on the date we needed them.  We have our wedding clothing purchased, and it fit both of us right off the rack – no alterations needed.  In my mind FATE is saying it’s meant to be! 

We learned a lot about this wedding experience, including which friends are true friends, which friends we can count on, and which ones are not dependable.  We also learned a great deal about patience, stress management, and how to be gracious when you are seething inside.  We also learned, if we had to do it over again, we’d do it the same way.
